Mission&vision

At AGR®, we see the invisible® by bringing revolutionary optical sensing technology to the palm of your hand.

We aim to remove guesswork from
visual inspection with our proprietary
optical scanning platform - Spectre®.
AGR® is focused on the analysis of light frequencies, or "colors", that span beyond what the human eye can see to bring lab-grade material identification to the field.  Spectroscopy, or frequency analysis, is only our first step towards changing the way everyday users harness the power of emerging optical technology.

Ourstory

What type of innovator can nurture the spark of inspiration into a sustainable reality?

At AGR®, we have put those pieces of the puzzle together.  Our founders offer a wealth of worldly experience, hailing from 3 countries spread across the globe.  After first meeting as members of the University of Rochester's premier scholarship cohort, a shared vision emerged from the common bonds of friendship and entrepreneurship.  Necessity is indeed the mother of invention, however, as opportunities dwindled with the onset of the Pandemic.  Instead of shying away from the unknown, the founders forged a new path with experience built from engineering solutions at leading companies such as Google to Bausch+Lomb.  Thus, AGR® was born.  Since then, our team has never stopped moving towards innovation with a sense of passion and urgency.  The unique challenges that were overcome by building our business during a global crisis have left indelible marks of tenacity and grit on our identity.  As the reality of a new future emerges, our product and vision are balanced with experience humbled by the harshest of circumstances.  We remain perched in a position to shape the future of the industry.
